The Mini-Mite 3 XPC ™ Model

Fuji Spray® recognized that although there were plenty of lower priced HVLP turbine systems on the market today, there were none that combined top quality with all the features demanded by professionals. Features such as a powerful 3-stage Turbine Motor, Metal Turbine Case and Non-Bleed Spraygun with Pattern Control Knob (to adjust the size of the fan pattern) and Stainless Steel Components. Plus extra features such as an Air Control Valve and a High-Efficiency Aircap for even less overspray. Please note* the Review was done before we added the Pattern Control Knob so it shows our older, discontinued spray gun.

It is often thought that the reason that most people purchase an HVLP system is for speed, but we have found that the main reason is really the desire for a high quality of finish. Of course, any spray system is a few times faster than brushing - admittedly, even a cheap version will give you speed. But for quality of finish, you do need power (3-stage minimum) and a high quality spraygun with all the features. Please read the information on our Components Page where these features are described. This will give you the knowledge you need to make an educated decision.

The Mini-Mite 3 XPC™ system replaces the previous Mini-Mite 3 model which was a real favorite with cabinet makers and professionals. Now the new Fuji XPC spray gun with pattern control knob is included with this system. Fuji installs a powerful 3-stage turbine motor. The Mini-Mite 3 XPC™ is a professional standard 3-stage system - by 'standard' we mean that the turbine does not have the patented noise-reduction feature as seen on the Fuji Q-Series. However the noise level is no more than any other standard HVLP turbine on the market. The MM3 Turbine develops 6psi. This is more than enough pressure to spray all known coatings (when properly thinned) and all the newer water-based coatings.

The Mini-Mite 4 XPC™ Model

The MM4 XPC system uses the most powerful 4-stage turbine on the market (same as the Q4 PRO). This system is recommended for those who want the extra power available. As with the MM3, there is no noise reduction feature, so this should be taken into account if noise level is a factor. Please note* the Review was done before we added the Pattern Control Knob so it shows our older, discontinued spray gun, however it is a very helpful, independent review.

The MM4 is equipped with the new Fuji XPC spray gun utilizing a 1qt (1000cc) pressure-feed cup. This same system is available from some dealers with the 9600-G XPC Gravity Gun.

The Super 3 XPC ™ Model

The new Super 3 HVLP System utilizes much of the same sound-proofing as used on the Q-Series turbines. So although the Super model is not as quiet as the Q version, it is still relatively quiet. Compared to a standard turbine it is a joy to use. This is an economical way to own a quieter turbine system.

The Super 4 XPC™ Model

The Super 4 system uses the most powerful 4-stage turbine on the market (same as the Q4 PRO). This system is recommended for those who want the extra power available along with some genuine noise reduction.

The Q3 GOLD™ Model - QUIET!

The Q3 GOLD ™ system is identical to the Super3 Model with the added feature of more extensive noise-reduction. The Fuji noise reduction method is patented in the USA. Research & Development was conducted by engineering staff at Carleton University in Canada under a partial Government grant program. Noise is reduced by over 50% making this the quietest 3-stage turbine available today. The Q3 GOLD™ 3-stage turbine develops approximately 6psi. This system is ideal for Cabinet Makers and Furniture Refinishers. Perfect for any type of fine-finishing.

At 15ft the Q3 GOLD™ Turbine is only 62 dba, at 20ft is it 59 dba. Normal Conversation is 60 dba.

The Q4 GOLD™ Model - QUIET!

For Paint Contractors spraying Latex House Paints most of the time and for those persons who simply want the best, Fuji introduced a more powerful, 4-stage HVLP Turbine System. The Q4 GOLD ™ 4-stage turbine develops approximately 8psi, allowing for less thinning of paints. Fuji installs the same 4-stage turbine motor used by most other HVLP makers. The Q4 GOLD™ Turbine is perfect for fine-finishing of cabinets, furniture, automobiles as well as heavy-duty painting projects.

At 15ft the Q4 PRO Turbine is only 61 dba, at 20ft it is 58 dba. Normal Conversation is 60 dba.
